Birthday Card

This is a (not very good) photo of the card I made for the lovely Jennie's birthday.
I used gemstones bazzil card, one of the papers came from OAP in a card swap, the top one came from a papermania 'pet' set. I made my own sentiment (can't you just tell?) and added a self-decorated prima eline flower, card candy and ribbon from Crafty Ribbons to complete the background. I used copic pens to colour the Anya image which had been sent to me a while ago by another kind MSE friend.
Thank you for looking!
(I also made a card for Caroline but forgot to take a photo in my rush to get it posted. I can't post my other February make just yet as I don't want to spoil the surprise for the recipient).

Try Again

As you can perhaps see from my last (first!) post it's been a while since I started this blog! I have recently enjoyed following others blogs so I thought I'd try again! The only birthday card I have ready is for someone who may look on here so I thought instead, I'd introduce you to some of my most treasured hand crafted items.
These little chaps were made by my Mum - I can't date them exactly but they must be at least 20 years old and even now I have more modern decorations these are still my favourite Christmas item and take pride of place every year.
Their bodies, arms & legs are pipe cleaners covered in festive material scraps, hands feet, & hats are felt, I'm not sure the exact composition of the heads but I have seen them in craft shops. Their faces were hand drawn and I like that each has a different expression.

I'm still not sure how often I will be able to blog but hope to be back again in less than 10 months!
